How to know when to go to the hospital:
Labor at home as long as possible. Follow your body and baby, you can head to the hospital when you are ready to get in your birthing zone, for many this is when active labor is turning to transition.
If you plan to birth at the #birthcenter or #hospitalbirth remember it is just that, your place to birth, you do not have to spend your entire labor there.
Many labor nurses are supporting protecting the physiological process by following pre-made birthing plans and doing paperwork after labor.
As for when to call the midwife in #homebirth this is up to personal preference
